USF in Bergen, Norway in May 2006

We were invited to exhibit in the USF gallery in Bergen during the Bergen International Music Festival. By curator Malin Barth (link). The exhibition was sponsored by USF and by the city of Bergen.
For the USF exhibitions we wanted to do a live test of our “Multilanguage” text and sound installation. The music was composed with the basis in a series of human voice samplings (including old radio archive pieces from NRK). The written text were based on a collection of sentences that all had some sort of personal meaning or memory link for us personally, and were in Norwegian, English, Sami, Chinese, German and Portuguese.
The first project for which we developed a “Multilanguage concept” where designed as a permanent installation in an escalator in the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo, and was thematic evolved round the concepts of truth and evil “the sad truth” (link). “The Sad Truth”
