Intro


Intravision Group is a photobiology and systems integration company working with new technologies for production of foods and plant made pharmaceuticals. Our focus is on multi-band and spectrum variable LED lights enabling biological control and optimization of plant responses to specific wavelengths between UVA and IR light.  We both initiate and partake in associated research projects.  We are headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with offices in Shenzhen, China (production and sales, Asia), and Toronto, Ontario, Canada (R&D and sales, Americas).

Guelph’s CESRF


Intravision Group partnered in 2010 with the University of Guelph’s Controlled Environment Systems Research Facility (CESRF). The cooperation matched Intravision’s spectrum variable LED light technology with CESRF’s competence and technology within controlled environment production of plants.

This synergy enabled the development new knowledge in how to optimize light spectrum variations and photoperiods to trigger desired responses in plants and to optimize plant production practices, including shorter generation cycles, greater yield and improved quality of specific valuable components

Technology


Initially technology development and testing focused on high-value products like biopharmaceutical, high-value biotech products, and food security projects for extreme habitats but presently includes Controlled Environment Horticulture, large-scale efficient indoor food production systems and supplementary light systems for greenhouse horticulture.
