The Niagara facility is the 'first full' scale GravityFlow™ automated multi-layer vertical farm systems designed to produce upwards of 1m pound /annul. The facility has been systematically designed form the ground up by Intravision Group and its partner Elevate Farms as a purpose built urban farm factory.
The design incorporates the full scale GravityFlow™ system, all upstream and down stream processes such as: seeding, germination, transplantation, harvesting, sorting, packaging. As well as, office spaces, amenities & services, building management etc. The system is optimized for the growth of a variety of leafy green products.
AUTOMATION
The system is highly autonomous with a number of 'pre' and 'post-process' automation equipment managed either locally at the machine or from the dedicated control room. The automation and system control elements optimizes the flow of goods, reduce unnecessary human interaction, tracks, collects and logs system data 24/7 and insures the facility is running optimally.
THE GRAVITYFLOW
